Architecture and Landscapes

John says “As a boy, I was often taken to art galleries in London by my parents and was inspired by the work of Canaletto, Constable, Michelangelo and Francisco de Goya, among many others. Having discovered that I lacked sufficient ability to paint for a living, I turned to the closely related art-form of photography. And, particularly in my photographs of landscapes and buildings, I try to produce an image that is as I would have painted it.”

His photographs, taken all over the world, have appeared in many magazines, newspapers and calendars.
